Takealot.com screwing up Fallout 4 pre orders on PC

Ah, to be young again. That said I'm buying my 3 year old an Xbox next month. I hope they are into it like I was as a kid, will be great getting back into it with my boys.

I rather pay the preimium from the likes of gmg/steam,ect then hear another word from a SA retailer about delays on big releases and them blaming suppliers, ect

Steam download done and dusted just waiting for unlock meanwhile takealot can't guarantee delivery on release for a major preorder...
Plus you can get a refund on Steam if the game is not good. Try getting a refund from Takealot, see what happens.
Sadly I'm in no position to just pay that price and laugh it off.

So I would not have minded waiting a few days and having saved ±R360. However I placed the order on Friday and received my order without any delay about 12pm on Monday. Which makes me wonder if JHB had more stock or they sourced more while knowing other areas would be lacking.

If at any point there was issues, there is always credit reversal having paid with my credit card. The only real annoyance was steam and its regional unlocking.

God forbid we play fallout 4 a few hours earlier than we should.

Nothing justifies the expense of spending $59.99 on Steam for me. It's just too much, and I hope the switch to Rands lowers things to local store levels.

Takealot are notoriously unreliable for preorders, which is why I'd go with Raru over them. Similar prices and much better service. Now that I've used CNA for Fallout 4 and had amazing service from them I'd also recommend their online store.
