After ebucks fallout 4 was R270 and to be delivered tomorrow. I didn't see that kind of special on gmg, that's ± 19.28 usd.

Not if you had store credit over and above the discount voucher . Plus I don't have those pesky exchange rate conversions to worry about as i get paid in dollars

I live in KZN and my order (PC copy) seems to all be in order. Right now it's on its way from JHB to the Durban depot.

Also for those that might not know, the disc provided only contains 5.21GB of data, the rest (18.5GB) must be downloaded. There is an upload of the steam pre-load available if you can find it.

I rather pay the preimium from the likes of gmg/steam,ect then hear another word from a SA retailer about delays on big releases and them blaming suppliers,ect

Steam download done and dusted just waiting for unlock meanwhile takealot can't guarantee delivery on release for a major preorder...

Plus you can get a refund on Steam if the game is not good. Try getting a refund from Takealot, see what happens.

Luckily I got my copy today from takealot as I had hoped!

Also downloading the torrent of the pre-load really helped. I only managed to download about 86% of it due to it being so slow but steam is downloading any missing files. Only 2 gigs left!

You could always download a repack torrent and copy it to your steam folder, could save you a good couple of GB.

Takealot screwed up my order as well.

I saw on the 9th that my order will only be delivered on the 16th. I then phoned in and they told me the whole story of not enough stock but it will be Delivered on the 12th.
Maybe 3 or 4 hours later, I received an email stating that my order is ready for collection.
I then drove to Takealot Montegue Gardens from Bellville at 15:45. Gave them my order number and the lady said "Oh **** not another one". I was like wtf. She said I was the 7th person to come there and that they arnt allowed to release the game to us.
After arguing for about an hour, I then had to drive home in 5pm traffic.
The game arrived today at 11am BUT now I'm stuck busy downloading it.
8.6gb done, 15.4gb to go.
