Not surprised. Guy at work ordered a 2 man tent. Got a turbo oven instead. Not a big price difference but whole other department.

Hope they reward for your honesty(voucher). How much did you spend on your order last week. Whoever does the packaging probably messed up the docket without checking to see if the bar code corresponds. This is a high risk item which should be RRN immediately any delays.

Somebody is probably pissed receiving your goodies.. Bitching nonstop at takealot, probably wanted it over the long weekend

Surely if it was a bundle it would be wrapped together. This was a big f up, someone head will be on the platter today/tomorrow. I would be peeved off if I received a tripod... Very unprofessional on their part - they should have said sir you may keep it. Thanks for your honesty. Like that dude in America receiving all of amazon goodies for free, keeping it

Would it? Are bundles usually wrapped together? I'm just basing it on what their bundles usually consist of. Unfortunately our local shops are not as generous as Amazon.

All bundles I have purchased in the past from shops normally all bundled, unless it's buy 1, get x item free.

Human error is to blame. Doubt takealot have a sophisticated warehouse like amazon. Check the video at the bottom.

Pick up number on the invoice could be the box. The final step would be to scan everything to confirm correct items being shipped / checking bar code.

I spent R704 (R799 - R100 voucher + R5 donation) for the tripod, which I received.

Highly unlikely they would let anyone keep the 17k lens if not paid for.
