I just find it highly interesting that it matches one of their bundles item for item. Yes human error is to blame. I never said it isn't. Someone saw tripod and gave them the packing slip for the bundle that includes the tripod instead.

That's a first. Now they starting to use Fedex, clear indication that they unable to manage with their own courier company.....

Mr Delivery has always been a point to point delivery system without much infrastructure. Guess they still need to use other channels when parcels have to stay over for the night or have to be handed over.

Skynet delivered dog food today.
Now for small items they seem to be using Fedex. Unless they have negotiated better rates with fedex,. Why handover small parcels over to fedex doesn't justify if they own Mr Delivery.
Skynet is the worst company I have dealt with. I have to always follow up if they going to deliver today or tomorrow. One of my parcels was sitting with them over a week. As a new customer they treat you like royalty;returning customer you don't even receive a call to schedule a delivery slot.
Things are changing... I really get impatient when turnaround times aren't met.
Heads up to anyone applying a voucher on an order - buying airtime with other items in trolley. Their system doesn't release the good, had to be done manually. Crossing fingers bug gets fixed
Received the same for my parcel. Kalahari uses Fedex so the contract has obviously been transferred to Takealot - I would imagine a large chunk of turnover would have been lost by them if their shipping contract had not been carried across so they were probably keen to stay on board.
Ive only ever had one item stolen by the courier company and that was skynet.

How does one track a parcel using Fedex directly.. need a little help here for those who've actually received their parcels.

I didn't even have a chance to track my parcel. Ordered at 1PM yesterday, deposited cash into an ABSA ATM at 2:05pm. Receive their payment confirmation just before 3pm. Parcel was dispatched at 4pm
Parcel in my hand at 9am this morning. That is freaking AWESOME service!!

With the sudden surge in orders (After Kalahari merged) I don't think it's feasible/possible for them to be able to do this every time anymore.
I'm 20 minutes away from the warehouse but items in stock take 16-36 hours to be delivered. If i choose to collect it's ready for collection in 2-8 hours depending on what time I order.

Did you apply a voucher to your order ? If you did I suggest dropping them an email to release your goods...

Good question. Highly doubt the products listed on Kalahari will be listed on takealot. Probably they will keep the popular items that move and the rest of the items that don't move will be sent back to the supplier/auctioned off.
