Takealot Vouchers (Begging) Thread

I had to cancel an order the other day, only way to do it was to email them.
Good to know, thanks :). I ordered R200 too much of TA vouchers last night but only realised after hitting Proceed. Then I decided to just suck it up and pay the extra to avoid any hassle with cancelling via some painful manual/email process!

They have been slow to deliver as of late. Dunno why

I disagree, placed an order Wednesday after noon, changed my mind, emailed an hour later to cancel - sorry, item already shipped, please log a return when parcel arrives! Arrived the next morning at 11am. Decided to keep. Lol

Also ordered something last night at 9pm, arrived this morning at 10am.

Seems a bit hit 'n miss based on some comments; my orders to JHB are generally on or before the given date though, very rarely delayed.

Not really. I am so used to getting them early that when I get them by estimated date, I only feel it is late. So my comment earlier was because I got them in time and not earlier

Loot still has a special on nappies till 12am

R4 cheaper than Takealot is not really a special, plus no ebucks (R9-75 back)

TL: http://www.takealot.com/pampers-active-baby-midi-mega-pack-150/PLID17228197
Loot: http://www.loot.co.za/product/pampers-active-baby-mega-pack-150-s-midi/mffp-3308-g460

So no, not special, just OK

On the subject though, I have run out of space in my house to store Pampers Mega Pack boxes of nappies. Another 2 arrived today. TL got a lot of turnover from me and family with Spring50......

Could really do with a R50 off voucher for a R600 item I want.

A R50 voucher is literally the difference between me buying it now, or waiting until later.

It's not even 10% :D

How many children do you've that you've to stock up on so many nappies. Surely you buy like 50 boxes with a packet of condoms every time

Only downside to that is if I ever have to return the item. I'll be refunded in vouchers. I have a very large Incredible Connection voucher I'm considering selling at a significant discount.

Considering their prices you will have to knock at least 33% off the rand value lol

Does anyone know whether you earn ebucks when loading funds onto vcpay.

Would be classic if you could, they do specify that those kinds of things don't qualify, it's like a cash withdrawl. Maybe their system hasn't worked it out yet though, start moving shedloads through Vcpay then back into your account and out again....

Sometimes they have worthwhile specials. But yes, I'm quite prepared to take a knock, but definitely not a 33% one.

Lol

That's a brilliant idea you hatched up .

I was actually wondering as it wouldn't make sense for me to then use vcpay if you are going to lose out on ebucks earn .

VCPay charges 2% when you charge up your VCPay account with a credit or cheque card so you will lose as you can't get 2% back from FNB AFAIR
