Logistic prices have gone up. If you buy 100 KG of dog food like I do every month. That works out to like R150 delivery

Well I also know of people who trolled them, by buying pencils on the app, and then get free shipping on something that cost not even R2. Getting that shipped for free, on a daily basis.
They send consignments of various orders to their Mr Delivery branches as part of their delivery process. They also use direct to door couriers.
I have always thought, they should offer a free delivery option via the Mr Delivery service, but with extended lead times. IE: in some cases, I would be willing to wait a week for a small sub R250 order if the delivery was free. If I wanted it faster than that, I could choose to select a paid delivery method.

This no free shipping thing came and bit on the bum, been eyeing out this 3m USB cable for R50 and then this morning I thought stuff it I need the cable just order it. Oops but no free shipping anymore
Will need to plan better in the future.

I don't think i ever took advantage of free shipping for purchases under R250. What a waste of petrol and expense for them to courier me something for only R50... we all pay for it in the end :/ Either financially or environmentally but we do pay

OK, sure, if your order is say close to R200, but I would just feel bad ordering a R50 item and have them deliver only that. But ordering R2 pencil orders (Tinuva's post above) on the app takes the cake...
