i found this on another thread "There is a promo code you can use on takealot... If memory serves, it's for purchases over R350 and gives you R150 off and free delivery. "947" or "jacaranda 150" for first time users only. So I registered my wife and used the promo. Worked like a bomb. Think it's valid till 3 June 2017." Can anyone confirm?

if you have gmail , it is easy to make 2nd or more accounts. [email protected] = [email protected] = [email protected] just move the . around for more ,but takealot think's you different persons.

I'm surprised that Takealot hasn't started matching delivery addresses to stop this kind of abuse.

They have. When there are bigger sales the Mr D delivery dude can sometimes stop with his bike and this odd oversized backpack thing overloaded with like 20+ different orders for this one single delivery address alone:



This has triggered phone calls from Takealot in the past to find out why there are so many deliveries. Every time the delivery dude was able to vouch for us that the location is a massive office park, hence the identical delivery addresses.

Abuse indeed - thats why we hardly ever see vouchers these days.

Won't work for people like me that use company addresses. Load of people at our co that order from them. <sarcasm> And 300 of us have the same 1st name so we use name##@company.co.za addresses</sarcasm>

"free delivery" and that discount is 2 differant issues.
