A week or two but the Christmas orders were way delayed last year.

Ah thanks. I ordered and the website said delivery by Thursday the 30th. The item is in jhb and I am in ct. Hoping they can stick to that.

Don't think its anything like that. They pretty much do not care about this thread. If you look at the small print on the vouchers they mostly come with number limitations. ie: for 1st 1000 redeems, and I am sure some of the money is not really lost as its marketing + linked to another company that probably pay for the codes. Example 5Fm or Vodacom pay to have said code.

Edit: Hell every time someone even post in this thread they get free marketing cause it goes to the top of the list.

If Takealot cared they's start linking accounts to delivery addresses and ban people from making new accounts each time to use vouchers which are only available to new users.

That would not bode well for the people at my company as most of us use work address because of delivery hours. ;)

If Takealot cared they should offer vouchers to their loyal customers and not just 1st time buyers.

True, but those people don't also have the same credit card numbers, phone numbers and surprisingly similar email addresses.

They seem to condone clone accounts to get the customer numbers they can quote up.

Well they use to hand out vouchers like candy, when they started, just to get the clients, then they started giving out vouchers in selected departments and now you would be lucky to get R5.00.I wish they would do rebates like amazon buy this item and receive R10 bucks of next purchase that is how you reward loyal clients.

Besides I am giving loot a go this week, want to see how it goes with them, unfortunately the item has a lead time, of 4 to 8 days, they use fedex it seems and their turn around time is pretty good otherwise, I am holding thumbs they get stock sooner then later, if every thing goes well I am going to switch over to them....
 
Takealot only interested in getting new customers and not getting back customers who stopped buying from them.
