Good Day Mr XYZ
Please note that we will not fulfil any of your orders and your IP and email address have been blacklisted on our system due to falsifying information on your previous order and currently spamming and placing fraudulent orders on our online store. You are in current breach of our terms and conditions applicable on our online store (xxx.co.za).
If you do not cease from your actions, we will have no choice but to pursue legal actions against you.
Regards
I was threatened with legal action for creating an account with 'fake' information by another local online shop, not Takealot.
My modus operandi with any new (untrusted) online store is to first test the waters by creating a John Doe account. After creating a thread on mybroadband pointing out some obvious red flags that I picked up on, I was sent the following email:
Needless to say, their claims were unfounded. I did not spam their system with anything. Their cart system was broken and the only way to clear your cart was to complete your order. I placed 2 orders to clear my cart followed by 1 legit order for items that I wanted.
The online shop in question does not exist anymore.
So why triple x them then?
The store is actually xxx.co.za
