Still more worth it to create a new account and use R150 off. Wonder if they stack though :D
 
Yes, if you don't get the payment confirmation email then the account was flagged and the order will be cancelled.

They'll refund your CC though.

aaahh so happened to you before ?

i got refunded for one as i called in and asked about the order

so work around is completely new email addresses ?

cause i use gmail add dots and plus signs and numbers

But otherwise identical name/address/cell number/cc?
 
First time posting so I'm sorry in advance if I'm out of line. After months (READ: YEARS) of trolling this forum for TakeALot vouchers, I've finally had my run in with the TakeALot police. Apparently creating multiple accounts is against their T's and C's and all that.

Anyhow, I recently had two orders on the same day cancelled so I decided to play dumb and phone in. Also emailed them and created a couple of tickets to find out how they flagged me. In any case, from the two people who could give me an answer, they said that it was actually based on the cellphone number I had used to register. Not the email or credit card. The money from both orders was returned to my account though.

Oh and huge thank you to all of you on this thread. Saving the country hundreds of rand at a time :D

I think you misunderstood him. He got flagged for voucher abuse by noticing the cell# is the same as other accounts. You will still need a new account to use vouchers.

Considering a sim card cost R1 or less, getting more numbers should be a non-issue if you are serious about using your vouchers!
