Yes, we do it all the time. Load the voucher back as credit and you can even use it next time to buy another voucher.

From what I have experienced that isn't possible, if you use a voucher as part payment for an order you can't incl vouchers in that order, may have changed though.

I can confirm the above as well, I could not use a voucher with the credit about 3 weeks back
