Tapatalk 4

Anyone found a way to "nest" the first view to that it just shows you the as you open the forum?
V2 just shows you the thread, v4 shows every post separately

I'm not sure what you're asking. The first sentence is broken...
 
Right, it looks like when I hit the notification in the notification bar to opens the notification section rather than the subscribed section, which is what I want to see.

The notification section exists to handle notifications. My Tapatalk 4 usually takes me to the actual post or PM in question though when I open notification bar links. The options are very limited in Tapatalk, so you'll just have to get used to how it's behaving.
 
If I buy tapatalk 4 on my tablet would I be able to download it on my phone too if they use the same gmail account or do you have to buy a license per device?

Anything you've bought on the Play Store is downloadable on all your devices.
 
Just purchased 4 and looks like I need to setup everything from scratch. Is there a way to export all the forums from 2?

Sign in with Tapatalk 2 (or sign up). It is at the top of your default screen as you enter the app.
Then sign in on Tapatalk 4 and your forums will be there. But you will have to enter you passwords again. Still easier than doing it from scratch.

Yes - sign in with Tapatalk ID on your old version (if you still have it) - when you run new version, sign in again and it restores all your forums from the previous version.

So this version that a lot of us have paid for has gone free with another pro paid version being launched. Pretty unethical as far as I'm concerned from the devs.

The paid version was always paid. It's the old Tapatalk 4. The version you had would have been Tapatalk 2. The problem is that those apps had very different interfaces and people are being forced to change, that many people paid money for Tapatalk 2 very recently and that the free version of Tapatalk 4 has fewer features than Tapatalk 2.

It was a mind numbingly stupid move in my opinion. They could have left version 2 and 4 as they were and just added a free version of 4.

Well I paid for Tapatalk 2 way back when and recently paid again when it "upgraded" to 4. All I know is it was a bad move from them as they don't seem to know/care what they are doing.

Same here.

I paid for the old Tapatalk version and loved it. Then there was an update on the Play Store & I got the latest free version.

It is terrible and I hated using it, so I uninstalled it.

Then I realised there's the free MyBroadband Tapatalk app & started using that.

Last night an update came through and now the MyBroadband Tapatalk app is also sporting this new horrible free version.

Uninstalled. My Tapatalk days are over.
