I only have tbc expansion. I have 2 chars on lvl 70, but i am stil very new to the game. where can i find what land/flyings mounts and at what price. lol i only know of the mounts in the main city.

Cost is 800g for training, and 100g for the mount.

Epic mounts cost only 200g, but the training costs 5000g

The Cenarion Expidition in the Swamp also sell a hippogryph ( exalted ). I think sunwell island also has a repbased mount. Not 100% sure though

The sunwell mount is a rare drop in MGT so far as I know, not a rep mount.

There's also the mount that drops from the druid epic flight form boss encounter in Sethekk Halls (assuming that is still implemented), and there's a few rare mount drops in vanilla content too - the death charger from Strat UD, and the tiger mount from ZG.

I'm sure there are more, but that's what I can think of off hand.

Damn there are so many of them... correct me if im wrong but you also get a bear mount from ZA and a flying mount from eastern plague lands - well i think so

The ZA bear mount was removed from the game before Wrath was launched - it was a rare mount obtained during a challenging timed event that would have been trivialised by the nerf to instances and significant buff characters got before the expansion went live.

So far as the EPL mount goes, that's possibly the Baron mount from Strat UD I've already mentioned you're thinking of, & it's a ground mount only.
There is however a flying mount that looks similar which can be obtained during the Headless Horseman event in SM Graveyard during the Halloween festival.

That's a reward for gaining exalted with the Netherwing faction in Shadowmoon Valley. It's just a long rep grind basically, so it's just a matter of patience to get it.
Just note that you need artisan riding (225 skill) to open up all the dailys

You can also get what is one of the best looking land mounts in the game by simply grinding Wintersaber Trainers rep in Winterspring. You need to get to exalted by doing 3 quests over-and-over.

It took me a little while to get mine.

Another mount you can get in 1 evening is by completing the achievement [For the Alliance] whereby you kill all 4 leaders of the horde cities. Blizzard then mails you a Black war bear. As long as you parttake in the fights it doesn't matter which level you are - granted it will be pretty tough for anyone below lvl 78 to get there - even in a raid of 40 strong.

Very rare drops include:

The Zulian tiger & Raptor from Zul Gurrub,
Midnight from killing Attumen in Karazhan,
The warsteed from killing the Baron,
The brewfest kudu from killing the brewmaster,
I can't remember the others off hand.

The only Tigers available to Horde are the TCG Card reward ala Spectral Tiger of Ultimate Pimpness and the drop off The'kal in ZG.

I wonder why the Raptor vendor (Horde side) in Un'goro near Tanaris wasn't fixed to allow the Horde their own unique mount. I believe hes been removed now

Yeah. Only non-Faction, non-PvP Raptor in the game is off Bloodlord in ZG now.

My apologies about the Wintersaber mount - TheShogun is correct.

Blizzard did impliment the ZG mounts to allow cross faction abilities to ride tigers/raptors.

It's quite shocking to have seen 4 different people with the "midnight" mount from Attumen in KZ.

I dig my wintersaber, but I'd friggen LOVE to get that zulian tiger.

My one mate has the spectral tiger, giant turtle & rocket flying mount - I would've loved a spectral, but the card's been taken out of circulation too already
