Cape Town - The mother of a Grade 1 learner is furious after her daughter told her she was stripped naked by her teacher and verbally abused in front of her classmates.

Ursula Daniels, 41, says her six-year-old daughter who attends Grosvenor Primary School in Atlantis feels both traumatised and helpless after the principal allegedly told her to take her child from the school.
 
What is concerning, is the reaction by the principal towards this issue. Terrible
 
Happened to me in creché. Not my best moment if I'm honest. And it was a cold day :(
 
The teacher and the principal need to both be fired immediately and in fact probably never be allowed to work with children again.

I hope the education department sorts this out. Sad to say, but if the mother had money, the school would now be facing a lawsuit and would change their tune VERY quickly.

Both the teacher and the principal should beaten up and stripped and front of the whole school. Where is Mob justice in times like these.

Was naptime. We slept in two parallel rows. A few of us were talking (I was never sleep at naptime, never understood the need for a forced sleep.) Anyway, the guy next to me sort of moved to be closer to the other row so he could hit the kid or tease him or something. I grabbed his leg to pull him back. Teacher saw, thought I was trying to pull his pants down (what??) and so decided to make an example of me. So she called me up, pulled down alles and let me hang free. Seems to me, she left me there, like a dangle in the wind...never knowing, who to turn to, when the shame set in...

Now I would have liked to punch her, but I was just a kid...

If there is, I don't think it gives the teacher the right to humiliate the kid like that. Perhaps a meeting with the mother or parents, would have been the correct procedure to take.

The fact that the teacher stripped her naked, will or should land that teacher in serious hot water.

Hopefully her candle burned out long ago.
 
Any teacher try that with my kid. You will regret the day you were born
