I am currently in progress with mediation against Jonathan Darker with the assistance of the SA consumer Complaints Council. He's payfast acount was also closed due to numerous complaints and non-response with customers.

If anyone is willing to group up with opening a collective SAPS case and to provide further information for the SA consumer complaints council let me know
Hi Guys - apologies for the silence - i have been watching the hello peter complaints - i am more than welcome to collab - i did manage to get payfast to refund me , how many people are still waiting? i have Jonathans address should anyone need it.
 
Would personally try to call the seller to explain my stance on the matter. Failing any contact, send an email to the registered address. Fail that then yeah you can go to SAPS and open a case.

If they can't prove that the item was ever sent to you but insist that it was then it sounds like "theft under false pretenses".

That said, SA courier companies are shockingly bad at collections and deliveries so would try my level best to talk it out with any seller before going that route.

I can promise you that no parcels were sent - the owner, name withheld, is a serial liar, he never gives tracking numbers , he says he couriers things when he doesnt - he keeps his client on a short string. if you lucky you get your money back after 2 months. in my opinion it sounds like a scheme where money sits in a bank account, it accrues interest and then he refunds back (if you lucky)

That sounds pretty bad... Glad to hear you got your money back at least.

Yeah it's a tough game the hardware sales business, it reminds me of the Computer Wholesalers saga so more than likely that the owner has used customer capital for business / personal expenses and did not manage to recoup the cash in time to provide any form of adequate service...

By recoup I mean sales have stopped coming in so there's no more cashflow for them to sustain that type of fraudulent behavior.

Am in process of opening a criminal and civil case too. Will DM and gather more people affected by this person.
 
Right all, I am assuming no one ever got products or refunds just bulls&%t - has anyone had any movements from this piece of work
