Ted Lasso

S3 commences 15th March.

I don't know how the series managed to go from good to bad in only 2 seasons. The season 2 Christmas episode (S2e04) must be one of the worst ever TV episodes, I gave up there.

With S3 being the final one I will soldier on and finish S2 first.

Ted Lasso earns spot on top 10 streaming list with season 3 debut

Last week, the third season of the Apple TV+ hit Ted Lasso debuted. Now data is in from Reelgood that reveals how popular the show is compared to the top 10 streaming shows/movies. Here’s where Ted Lasso landed.

Last month, shortly after launching, Apple TV+ dramedy Shrinking became the fifth most popular streaming show/movie in Reelgood’s top 10 chart.

Now Reelgood has updated its top 10 streaming list for the week of March 16 and Ted Lasso has popped near the top of the ranking to be the fourth most popular show/movie.

HBO’s The Last of Us kept the number one spot followed by the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once in second, and Amazon’s series Daisy Jones & The Six in third.

Umm - just me, or has the sparkle gone? Enjoyed S1, battled with last few episodes of Season 2 but hoped a break would get some good scripts together. Just watched first few of Season 3 and now not sure how much more I can watch.

Once again, I am a bit late to the party here. I have semi-binged it up to S03E07 and can confirm that it also feels like it had gone downhill to me. It is not terrible, but not that special either. Some episodes stand out as enjoyable, lots of moments where something gets in my eye, but lots of snoozes as well. The whole Keeley storyline could have been left. In my opinion, they could have killed her off when she and Roy split ways (spoiler alert?). They did a great job in salvaging Higgins to a proper character. Nate just works on my nerves.

In the latest season, the sunflower episode was pretty decent, and Sam's dad stole the show. Otherwise it was not my favourite.
