There's a number of titles we were hoping to witness at this year's E3 Media & Business Summit, but it looks as though their creators chose to wait a bit longer before showcasing them. Tekken 6 is one of these games. The new installment in Namco Bandai's famous 3D fighting series is in development for the PlayStation 3.
Speaking in a recent interview with GameEX Magazine, Bandai's Haruki Suzaki uncovered that Tekken 6 is slated to hit retailers during December 2008. He was also asked if the game will be a PS3-exclusive. To this he replied: "No, It hasn't been determined yet as of the moment."
The game was released in Japanese arcades on November 26, 2007. This should make PS3 owners happy, albeit an Xbox 360 version would be a welcomed sight indeed.
