Hi,
I want to take out a contract on tekom mobile via the website, who here has ordered a phone from them via the website?, how long does it take?,
What paperwork is needed from me?, bank statements and ID or what? Please take me through the process.

Second question, and this is only for people with experience on both of phones, the iPhone 5s is R299 and the IPhone 6 is 450, is the extra R150pm wort it?, or should I rather take the 5s?

Iphone 5s retails for R7999
R300pm x 24 months = R7200 (so I will be saving R800 in 24 months, + 550mb pm and 50min)

IPhone 6 retails for R9000 (kalahari)
R450pm x 24 months = R10800

I took out a contract online with them. Took about a week altogether. I would have liked it to have been quicker so next time I'll go in to the store. They'll call you and you'll answer a few questions about your credit record and what not, and if satisfied, will allow you not to have to go into the store. I can't remember whether they asked me for my payslips, sorry.

Cant comment on the iPhone part of the question

Thanks, i did the application, eagerly waiting for their phone call :-)

Took mine out at a store. A friend of mine works at the iStore. Can't really complain about the network, home to work , there are no issues.

Really guys, not one single person took out a contract via Telkom mobile's website?

So what did you get in the end?

I went from a 5c to a 6. Huge step up... Had an iPhone 5 before that, no comparison. The gap between the 5s and 6 is smaller but I would still go 6...
