Telugu bug that crashes Apple devices

Anyone experienced the latest bug from the single telegu character? I sent it to a few mates and now some of their phones won't even turn on WTF. Is there any kind of fix for this?

So they gonna sue you for purposely damaging their phones? Why would you want to restart anything that is not yours?

Mmm... That's a bit extreme. But I think they allow iPhone in jail.
Just don't jailbreak it.
