Hi Guys,

Does anyone have any info regarding the outage on telfree's VoIP service?

Been down since this morning, even their own phone lines (support/sales) seem to be down.

Think I am on my 4th heart attack for the day. No phones, no business

We've got the same problem. Clients are arriving with torches and pitch forks at our front gate... Telfree's only contact number is down as well. They don't respond to e-mails. All that's left is to drive to their offices and help them reboot their servers... :-(

For what it's worth - we drove to their business address. They are working on the problem. They were unable to tell us exactly what the problem is. It might take up to a week to be back online...

FFFUUUUUUURRRRRKKKKK!!!!!!

You got to be kidding! Please tell me you are not serious.

Some of my clients' lines are back on, but ported numbers don't work. Thanks for the info thought.

Those of you looking for alternate VOIP,

look at BITCO,
They don't just offer internet.

I do not work for them, I do not gain commision from them. This is based on research, and ultimately what is going down elsewhere. (not prepared to discuss on open forum).

besides that I could tell you whom NOT to use, but that could be called slander(none mentioned here just yet).

Hope those of you struggling gets this resolved or move soon. phones are important.

Sjoh these guys really made a hash of it. Day 3 and still no service on some of the voip lines. Also, none of the ported numbers work yet.
Going to change service provider ASAP

Mine has been down for a couple of days now.

Strange though, on Tuesday after it was down for while, I got an automated welcome call telling me that my number was now ready. It was up for a while after this because I even tried calling it from my mobile and it worked. But it went down again shortly after and has been down ever since.

I have also not been able to log into the web interface http://secure.telfreesa.com/infinet_cust/
The page does not seem to exist anymore.

Yeah telfree aint no more. There is someone trying to pick up the pieces. But its slow progress. My main concern is the ported numbers.

I've now heard from a different source as well that Telfree has come to a sudden end and is being written in the history books as another failure.
I've started contacting new service providers and hopefully they will be able to save the ported numbers. Any luck with yours P00HB33R?

The guys taking over the accounts from telfree seems legit so far.

What I have heard/read from various sources, the ported numbers should still be intact and usable, its just a matter of time. The new service provider has a massive backlog, but getting there. All my voip (087) services are back up and running, still waiting for the ported numbers to become active thought.

Mine is still down

Hi Everyone,

Do anyone have any idea what is going on with Telfree services? Are the new guys going to be successful with integrating telfree customers? Or do we have to start hunting for a new SP? I have noticed that our voip lines are connecting and that we can phone out but we cannot receive any phonecalls. Callers are met with a message that says "The number you have dialed does not exist."

We've given up on Telfree over a week ago and is busy with the final steps of porting our numbers to the new SP. We simply cannot run a business with no phones and "what if's".

Even so I would have given Telfree the Big Bird just on principle. How can a company drop their clients in deep water just like that? No communication, no heads up, no excuses? Nothing. Screw them.

I wish we could do the same... But apparently you cannot port 087 numbers.

So the ****storm made a turn for the worse. Seems all 087 numbers on telfree platform are gone for good. No service from this morning.
