Maybe Telkom's reputation, build up with their terrible service and rip-off pricing in their home country is preceding then everywhere.

They should concentrate on their homebase first and ensure that service delivery and pricing is good and fair.

As a side note: SAA's total income last year was 19billion Rand. What was Telkom's profit? Can our economy carry on being ripped off like this?

One of many defeats awaiting Telkom in the near future. They can't even satisfy their South African cusomers, how did they expect to satisfy Nigerian customers? Maybe the Nigerians took note of the complaints against Telkom on this site which led to their defeat? Telkom's days are numbered!

That curve is pointing to R115?
Perhaps a short rally before the year is out, but in the new year dropping below R100.
Glad I don't play the share market, but that is my guess.

There seems to be another defeat looming for Telkom. Their bosses Papi Molotsane, Mlanda Ngcobo and Nomazizi Mtshotshisa was to appear before the Subel Commission today regarding an inquiery into the bussiness of Applied Card Technology. The commission is looking into the awarding of a contract of R500 million to a certain Robert Gumede's company "Gijima Afrika Smart Technologies". The three were summoned a month ago. Guess what? They won't attend - apparently they are out of the country! Just shows the way Telkom conduct their affairs. But on the other hand, we've become so used to it.
