Telkom strategy sucks
"September acknowledged that Telkom’s forays into Africa were beset by high unknown and competitive markets, infrastructure challenges, a lack of skills, and volatile currency and interest rates"
This is a complete reflection of the incompetence of executive managment at Telkom. How do you pay +R400 million for a venture (plus invest another R600m and report a LOSS) when you haven't done your homework. Whoever manages their Strategy and Mergers and Aquisitions are a bunch of incompetents who couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.
So glad I'm not a shareholder.
