Heya peeps. Im moving houses in 4 weeks and im in a situation where the only internet connection I can get is wireless, as there are no phone lines in the new development atm
I dont really care about high latencys im not playing online games anymore. Im looking for something Reliable, fast and affordable. Ive researched and left with 2 options:

Telkom 3G 3Gig cap
or
iBurst Wireless 3Gig cap

If you had to recommend one of these services, which would it be?
I find it pathetic that there is no WiMax service, absolute BS!!!
Please guys any info on helping me make a decision would be appreciated. Thanks

That above just negates IBurst as an option.
It is neither fast nor reliable as a service... just do some forum research or look at Hellopeter... see what I mean...

You may have just answered your own question.

;)

Definately Telkom 3G if you have coverage, it is an excellent product and the fastest residential internet available (in South Africa)

IIRC you are moving to a new townhouse complex somewhere in Lorraine (Luneville Rd?)

You are borderline for 3G reception from Linton Grange tower. If you tell me the complex name I'll stop outside and test using my Telkom 3G service. I need to go to my sister's complex opposite Lorraine Primary School tomorrow.

In a few months time you will be OK when the Charlo tower is on air.

It is possible that they were referring to providing you with WiMax from the Theescombe side.

Im going to Olive Tree Place in Lourdes close, very close to Lorraine primary. That would be really nice of you to test your Telkom 3G for me ;)
Is it possible to get WiMax in P.E?
