Hi There,
I've had absolute hell with Telkom, there's no infrastructure in my area, sunset blvd complex in sunset avenue, then they suggested wimax, but the engineer came there and said it's not possible because of the way the complex is, there is no clean line of sight... so wimax is not an option or alternative anymore
.
Basically, I was spending R. 550 on a ADSL 348KPS and Mweb Uncapped 348kps (both inclusive/combined)
I am now forced to throw away my router and look at other alternatives?. Im so fed up, I work from home and Im starting to hate my new home and telkom so much, I feel like giving up!... !
What alternatives are there, my budget is R. 580 and I need about 40GB per month, obviously, this has to be a wireless provider because clearly Telkom is so pathetic, or is there another provider that provides ADSL and lines besides Telkom.
I have checked Iburst, Neotel and 3G Options... and they are ridiculously overpriced for such small amounts of data!!!
The only reasonable package ive seen is the 8ta 35, 10GIGS for R. 199 pm, but your forced to a 24 months contract?
It's a no win situation in this country!!!!!
