Telkom 3G starter pack Data, gone too fast.

I use Telkom 3G (the one with the 200MB free data a month) as a backup for when my other internet is too slow.
Last night I plugged it in and started reading an SMS, Before I even opened my browser I another SMS came in telling me that I only had 97MB left, I then checked my email and logged out.
Today I logged in to read some articles on News24, I only read two articles when I got an “out of Bundle” message.
So somehow an empty Gmail inbox and two News24 articles used up 200MB off data.
WHAT THE HELL!

Perhaps you were running window update in the background and didn't take notice of it.

TM data does seem to go faster than "All networks"?

Downloads seem to go much faster?

D-link, and no, there was no update.

It’s a D-Link 3G dongle, not Wi-Fi router. And even if they could leach my bundle, why only Telkom, why not take my Cell-C data as well.

Was the modem connected to the 8ta network or roaming on MTN?

No I wasn’t roaming.
I don’t think you can roam on the free data.
