Telkom 4G app on Win10

I have a 4G Telkom sim in a 4G dongle that I've been using on a Win7 PC on my network, but because that PC is now getting old, I want to stop using that PC as the gateway for Internet. But when I transfer the dongle to a new PC which is Win 10, it doesn't connect. The software 'sees' the dongle and gives all indications that 4G is available but when I click on connect it tries but cant do the handshake and Telkom are less than helpful. ALL settings are correct.

Any ideas?

There may be a firmware incompatibility with your existing dongle & Windows 10 - I remember a similar issue with a client's PC when he also upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 - his old Vodacom 3G dongle had issues connecting & he had to replace it with a Huawei 4G dongle & an updated Vodacom SIM card, which solved the problem for him.

A bit of trial and error here and going along with above, you can also try:
• Right click on your Program.exe
• Try run the program in Windows 7 compatibility:
