Telkom 8ta coverage

Hi,

I've moved back to SA and for the next week am in the Pine Lake, Whiteriver area, when I got here yesterday I realised I have no service provider coverage and have to use data roaming :wtf:. Does anyone know if Telkom covers this area and if not does anyone know how much national data roaming costs are so I have an idea of how much this is going to set me back while I'm out here.

Telkom Mobile roams on MTN in that general area. Have a look at the coverage map above (select roaming 3G).

Prepaid SIM for each SP. Depending on your usage start from Cell C or from Telkom, then explore MTN options with Afrihost and Axxess.

If you buy the normal data bundles you will be covered.

Some data contracts are Telkom Network only. So if taking out a big data contract, make sure.
