Telkom Account issue

Hi all


Please can someone point me in the right direction, this has been ongoing since the weekend, and I am getting fed up now.

I had Telkom take me back from a 10mb to a 4mb account, and due to ongoing issues I have requested that this be reversed, however I am still waiting for this to be completed.

I have been sitting with a problem where my internet is EXTREMELY slow, and unusable, and when doing a speed test, I have been getting a routine 1mb speed, whereas I should be getting 4mb.

Over the weekend, I got so fed-up, I bought a cheap Afrihost uncapped account, and compared to Telkom, the performance has been superior, and I can get the full 4mb line speed, and everyone can browse the internet uninterrupted.

I had reported the matter to Telkom, I had a technician at my premises yesterday, despite me clearly stating to the Telkom rep on the phone, that the matter is an Account matter, and not a Technical matter due to my line, we both agreed that there was actually no reason for him to come out, due to the fact he confirmed that it was an issue with the account, a waste of his time, and mine.

I have attached my speedtest results, in which I have switched between my Telkom, and Afrihost login details, these tests were done on the same line, and equipment, just with different ISP logins, minutes apart.

I have reported the matter to Telkom, they have been aware of this since the weekend, yet nothing has been done.

I can't wait for fiber to be rolled out here, so we can be rid of Telkom.
Please can someone offer advice.
