Telkom ADSL 5102G Router HELP..

Any one know where I can get the latest firmware for the Telkom ADSL 5102G Router? I have looked everywhere but can't. Reason why is cannot pick up the wireless signal it broadcasts. I have reconfigured it and changed the security etc, but nothing shows up. Only other AP's. The WLAN light is on BTW

Hi spikey, pm BillionTech, I've got the firmware, but I don't think it's quite legal if I give it to you, since I don't work for Billion.

lol.... thanx. Do you think the latest firmware will solve the problem im having with the wifi of the router?

If under 12 months old why not exchange it for a new one at telkom - what version of the firmware have you got?

I'm not sure, I've got a ethernet connection on my router, I don't use WLAN ;)

Edit: BTW. you can ask Billiontech to help you with the problem, he's an awesome guy

do you think that using the ethernet instead of the WLAN works better eg better speeds etc.?

I'm having a similar problem - one laptop can't pick up any wireless signal at all while the second picks up the wireless signal and connects but can't download any data. A pc on an ethernet connection off the same router works fine. We got the router on Friday (02/03/2007)

Edit: On the laptop that picks up the wireless network I have only tried a secure connection.

Your probelem sounds very familiar. I had the same hassle when i first installed my Telkom router. I tried everything that could have been done, boyyom line is, it is stuffed bru. take it back and have them give you a new one....
 
Having this problem at a client, this is the firmware on the device: 2.7.0.9(ZUE0.B1)3.3.2.5

What versions do you guys have?

If your client is running vista, and the router is indeed the 5102g, then I know for a fact that it is one of the affected routers mentioned here.
