Telkom ADSL Line Verification

I ordered ADSL roughly 2 weeks ago and received an sms saying that my line was activated. I went and did the online verification on Telkom's website but received an error.

I tried several more times after that but it kept saying my request was already processed. I left it and on Wednesday I got my 10gig Afrihost account. I plugged my details into my modem and tested but all I can see is the Telkom website. An Afrihost tech told me that the line verification is the reason behind it and that I need to get hold of Telkom. So I do and after about 10mins of trying to explain to the tech that my modem is NOT a Telkom modem he says that they'll do the line verification from their side.

This was yesterday morning and he said it would be done yesterday. My line hasn't been fixed and all attempts to get through to someone at Telkom are hopeless.

My Neotel account ends on Saturday and I don't want to be left without internet. Does anyone have any helpful suggestions to get this sorted out? :cry:
 
I am getting a similar problem new line new modem and it is not sync'ing them tell me it's active and all yet its not working so I keep phoning them till somebody comes.
 
Telkom are the most useless bunch of ****s alive. I've spent 1:37hrs on hold today, spoken to 3 different consultants who have told me to phone 3 different numbers. I just want my ****ing line to be in full working order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
