I've been trying to topup my bandwidth using the Telkom DSL TopUP Portal but I've been unable to complete the process thus far. I'm able to get all the way through the process to the final confirmation screen but when I hit submit I immediately get sent to a plain white page that has the message "Click here to resubmit your details.".

It doesn't tell me why I have to resubmit my details and when I do click it I get sent all the way back to the login page and my topup request has been ignored.

I've tried using firefox, IE and Chrome with no luck. I asked a friend in Joburg to try it for me (I'm in CT btw) and he had no problem topping up my account.

I just recently moved back to CT from Canada and am using a canadian credit card, but a VISA is a VISA isn't it? as long as the funds are available I don't see why there should be a problem.

Any suggestions as to what I could try? I really am hoping to avoid sitting on the phone for an hour listening to a recording.

Why people still use Telkom to topup their Adsl is plainly stupid. There are much cheaper ways like Afrihost available.

Hi snapp

This is an old thread but it might help someone in future, so I'm helping with your problem for reference...

Telkom's topup screens have Google Analytics tracking code. Which is very silly, since you really only visit the site when your International Access is used up. So the page never properly loads.

I've done 2 things to get around this site to actually buy a GB of bandwidth:
1) Firefox has an option to "Tell websites I do not want to be tracked"
2) Block popups on telkomsa.net

I'm not sure which of these (perhaps both?) got me to load that screen to enter my CC details.

Of course, I have had no luck in getting someone at Telkom to be aware of this problem. The call centre don't know what I'm talking about (which is fine) but I couldn't find a suitable place to log the problem.

Hope this helps someone in future...
