Telkom and Cell C have a serious problem

FNB Wealth and Investments' Wayne McCurrie has warned that Telkom is a “proper value trap”, referring to the company’s share price which appears to be cheap.

Speaking to Business Day TV, McCurrie said Telkom and Cell C have a serious problem and it is not clear how to resolve this issue.

5G won't fix the problem. For that you have to build more towers which Cell C and Telkom are already struggling with.

It's mind boggling to here someone say 5G will change the game, why is 4G failing now?

Telkom stopped their LTE service in mid Free State due to congestion. Really only bad planning. Copper cables were stolen in a suburb, replaced by LTE and BOOM. Sorry sir we can't help you. They don't fix copper or replace it. BTW the whole Telkom got incentives after their results were published., but they have losses all over. Don't have to be productive to get an incentive.
