Telkom and other ISPs

If I connect with Telkom ADSL the internet is a nightmare to browse on. But If i change to afrihost or FNBconnect it goes super fast. Using the same adsl line.

Anyone else have this?

Me.I get about half line speed when browsing, and very slow to redirect. Downloading is fine though.

I got the same issues with my previous ISP, I am also a network administrator and what these people are not telling you is the sharing ratio on 1 connection, they would advertise it as 4:1 but in actual fact it is more like 10:1 and sertain protocols are either blocked or lower rated than others at sertain times.

Changing to afrihost for data now, it runs perfectly with them. Very strange that data from telkom just doesnt work when it did for like 3 years.
