Amid the jubilant comments on MyADSL came a well- reasoned argument from an individual named Ayanda, however, pointing out that if Telkom was forced to cut its fees, it was likely to curtail any further investments. If Telkom could not charge a monthly fee for the high-speed lines, Ayanda asked, who would support and maintain the service?

But the response from other MyADSL users was swift and sharp. The entire forum is convinced that Ayanda is actually a Telkom employee.

The publicity for MyADSL has been huge, just look at all the news articles. Truely amazing. :D
 
Tell Telkom there's a new kid on the block and we've come to take names and kick a$$.
 
Yeah it is sarcy, but I figured I'd post it anyway, balance and all hehe, and its an opinion column more than mainstream news
 
Hey, if you go on google and type in telkom MyADSL comes out first.
I bet all us users here, all agree that telkom are the worst isp inda world,

MyADSL is not even on the first page of results. The first hit I got for MyADSL was on page 4.
 
Ayanda was probably that reporter trying to get his story :D
But one thing people should understand is that a person with no previous posts that talk as if they have been around longer than the rest of us is just looking for trouble. And with 5000 members I cant see how the oppinion of the few people that posted first reflect on the rest of us. Thats what makes this forum so great.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if Telkom employees posted here. As long as we counter their arguments with good old cold, hard facts instead overly emotional responses.

When did we get past [5 000] <<--- this mark ? An importand milestone methinks. If you think about it, 5 000 members know quite a lot of people. I wonder how many people in here have contacts all the way to the top ?

No wonder Telkom is getting so much HEAT.
