Hi guys

So I'm on the monthly LTE deal for R529 a month

I looked at my invoice and now it says I have to pay R613

On the invoice it states "Account subscription and once off charges" R84

Is this normal?
 
Anyone has a reliable telkom rep email? Urgently need help here.

Last month I called, and they said it was a subscription charge that sometimes automatically happens which makes no damn sense how that happens then the guy said it will sort it out.

Now the invoice shows R622...it went up from the R613 I queried.

The original I'm supposed to be paying is R529
 
The telkom rep here is no longer available, your best bet is probably Telkom on Twitter or Facebook.

If not trying to visit a branch near you.

You got a wasp service attached. How they do it, I don’t know. If you call Telkom they will claim you signed up by clicking an ad on the internet and subscribed through that.

You can check what wasp it is by logging onto the Telkom app then on the LTE number go to subscriptions > Content services

You will be able to see what has been added to your account and you can cancel it. Phone Telkom as well and get a rep to cancel those services and confirm they are cancelled as well to be certain.

As for a refund. Telkom won’t do it. You have to make a complaint here https://waspa.org.za/lodge-a-complaint/

Takes a little while but you will get your refund.

Yes!! Apparently it's some subscription according to Telkom. I phoned them on Tuesday and they said they will log a reques and dispute. I got a case number.

So now I'm waiting to see next bill...I'll probably have to phone again which is a pain if it's not sorted.
