Telkom Closer 5

Hi guys...

I just want to enquire about the Telkom Closer packages. I've looked and looked on their sight, and I can't find a relevant page with regards to it.

I'm currently on Closer 5 (for years now - 4mb internet, unlimted landline calls)... I want it bumped up to 10mb. anyone know if this is possible, or has the plan been changed to something else?

Check your itemised billing on your invoice, if you see "DSL Fastest - R372.81" you are already paying for a "up to 10mbs" line. Whether Telkom can provide this speed to your premises is a different story dependant on physical line distance from the exchange etc, they are not obliged to provide 10mbs - you'll need to phone 10210.

If you can get 10mbps line speed you're probably interested in uncapped data and will need a 10mbs capable account, capped accounts will generally run at line speed.

Telkom Closer 1 is now called Telkom Weekender Plan
Telkom Closer 2 is now called Telkom Evening & Weekend Plan
Telkom Closer 3 is now called Telkom Unlimited Anytime Plan
