So we have ADSL 384, and use more than R500 a month on our telephone account => get Closer 4.

The Telkom rep I spoke to when applying for Closer 4 mentioned we could check the remaining free minutes per month on the net, but she did not how.

Anyone know if this is true, and if so, the URL?

Thanks

it would be amazing if telkom had this facility readily available.....theyre adsl accounts stats dont even update properly ..........but if anyone knows how to id like to know :)

online bill.

you need to sign up on their website, make sure you have the id no of the person the number is registered to. It does not always up-date in real time tho, so sometimes its a day or two late and in the last week of account month it kinda is delayed *suspicious look* but who knows.. maybe its just coincidence.

I have found that the reporting site has been non-functional about 50% of the time.

Telkom you suck! :@

Yes, I have a major gripe with this since I use the online bill facility to check my remaining minutes w.r.t. my 150 internet hrs. Plus they do not state the time of the status check on min remaining, which makes it impossible to tell sometimes how much you really have left.

Also, beware, sometimes calls that belong on one billing cycle will appear on the next month's bill which can cheat you out of your monthly allotment!!! A complaint via the web form on the telkom site got me a refund of some online time they erroneously billed me for! :)

Of course it is a pain to follow up on this since by the time u are able to check whether this has happened or not, u are in the next billing cycle and a refund is only forthcoming at the end of that.
