Hi all!
I have a Telkom e-mail address for more than 6 years. I access my e-mails, via Telkom's Do messaging or webmail server. I NEVER used a mail client or any other source such as Mail, Outlook, etc, for this e-mail address.
Recently, when I was looking for an e-mail that was sent to me two years ago, I discovered, to my dismay, that all my received and sent e-mails, prior to August 2016 have disappeared. There is absolutely no trace of any e-mails prior to August. I certainly did not delete because it contained confidential and sensitive information.
An IT specialist suspects that Telkom deleted it from their server, without my permission.

Telkom insists they do not have a back up server and therefore I cannot retrieve my e-mails.

My question is - how does one prove that the e-mails were deleted directly from Telkom's server and that I did not delete it.Telkom has NO RIGHT to delete my e-mails, without my permission - surely there are laws against this.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance :-)

Uhm you didn't pay for email storage or services did you?
