Telkom DIY (Successfull)

Mine were converted. They remove the ISDN unit or box, put a dual plug wall socket on the wall to the same copper wires, plug in the their laptop and run a test. Thats it.

I Did suggest to them that if the case is that they want the box, i will gladly take it to the nearest telkom shop for them... Altho, i'd rather send it via airmail to the next telkom truck that drives PAST my house... that would work 10x better.. and he might just stop!

They also already installed a dual plug wall socket here when they did my ISDN a few years back... no need to do that AGAIN :/
argh... TA for the word up tho.. perhaps thats what they wanna "configure".. ill yell at them again..

OH, on antother note: on the verifyadsl website on telkom.co.za, there is a part where they say that if you have probs with self install, you can get a tecchie to come fix it at a rate... so hell... that might even be less than 404
BTW, what does error 404 stand for again? *hint*hint*
