Well telkom never fail to amuse me, I wanted to upgrade my do 1 circumcised account to a do 2 account with the extra bit stitched on that was taken from the do one users and guess what !!!!!
If I cancel my do 1 now I will be charged the full R199 AND be charged the fee of the do 2 account.
We need to cancel the do 1 at the end of the month and start a do 2 at the beginning of the next month..... No pro rata......
welcome to telkom do you...

I am sure there is good reason for that... I mean if you purchase an 3 GB account and it's on prorate, then I can use the complete 3 GB in one day cancel it and only pay something like R5 or something lol. I am sure it happened to them and thats why it is like it is... I know for an fact that we are billed according to a bill period say 15 to 14 of next month but Internet usage is measured from 1 to last day of the month... I worked out mine to the dyme and it's correct...

Lets say you purchase the product on the 15 June and the bill period is 15 to 14 of the next month July it will show full amount for June and full amount for July because it's two months... my advice will also be purchase the product rather on the 1ste so that you have enough time to utilise the full amount of bandwitdh allocated to you
