I felt it was my duty to report this on the forum - seeing all the bad reports and flack that Telkom have been getting.
Reported a fault on my line on the 08/09/2009(0800375375). Passed on all the relevant info as to what was happening and was promised that the technicians would attend to my problem.
What a surprise!! Next day I get a call from the technician to say that he has found a fault on the port(s) at the exchange and he would personally see that the fault will be fixed. Needless to say I get home last night and find that the fault has been cleared. BIG THUMBS UP TELKOM

I would like to thank Rogan, Anthony and any other technician involved for a job well done.
Maybe the moderators could start a "sticky" or praise wall for Telkom. Give praise where praise is due - thats what I say!!
