Telkom does it again!!

I felt it was my duty to report this on the forum - seeing all the bad reports and flack that Telkom have been getting.

Reported a fault on my line on the 08/09/2009(0800375375). Passed on all the relevant info as to what was happening and was promised that the technicians would attend to my problem.

What a surprise!! Next day I get a call from the technician to say that he has found a fault on the port(s) at the exchange and he would personally see that the fault will be fixed. Needless to say I get home last night and find that the fault has been cleared. BIG THUMBS UP TELKOM :D :D :D

I would like to thank Rogan, Anthony and any other technician involved for a job well done.

Maybe the moderators could start a "sticky" or praise wall for Telkom. Give praise where praise is due - thats what I say!! ;) ;) Thanks again Telkom
 
I can't say that I have had the same experience with the techs or dsl call center............That's becuase my ADSL line has never been down in 3 years. :D
 
while you guys are at it i must just say ive never had an issue with Telkom ever.
maybe my username actually comes into play :)
 
lol... yea... I must admit I've been an on and off customer of telkom since 1996 and their service has (in the last 12 months) been excellent.

Sometimes the call center is a bit ****ed up, but usually if you phone after hours you get a decent dude on there and not some monkey reading from a script.

Also found my closest telkom shop takes requests via email so now all I need to do if I want to query or change something is email them :)
 
I think we all know what praise or the odd "pat on the back" does to improve ones output - I only hope it filters down to the guys on the ground who I think really should get the credit. :cool:
 
Ofcourse i've had my ups and downs with their service,had worse though

On an off-note,telkom business' support is miles ahead of the public monkeys
 
Telkom is good

but plz plz plz give the consultants on the phone some training seriously now
But well done telskum good job
