Telkom doubles ADSL data for free

Told you guys Telkom always looks after those in contracts.

On the surface, yes. But try to use this data to download a torrent, and you'll reconsider.

Torrents is behind the times.
 
Well it doesn't help me because I have not had adsl since Friday because some overhead line was stolen. About 40meters along Hans Strijdom in Faerie Glen.

I am really upset about this.

Telkom changed our Nightsurfer time to be in line with ADSL, so why don't we also get extra data, like ADSL??

I must beg to differ from my own experience. Telkom shaped capped accounts seem to pump torrent downloads from last I checked. I hope it stays that way because it's one of the reasons I've kept that account thus far

Torrents work just fine here.
 
But, but, I'm already downloading more than I can watch in 1080p, and using less than half my cap, thanks to night surfer. This won't help me at all.

Seems to be two schools of thought here. I'm with Viva; my torrents only work during night surfer time.

This just means you can watch youtube twice as much or you can actually download something big during peak times and not need to worry about hitting your cap. Still pretty cool. I got the 50GB so I now have 100GB for December which is pretty cool if you ask me. Nightsurfer and Social media is still free.
