Telkom email server problems

Can anyone shed any light on the intermittent telkom pop problems that have been occurring for the past 10 days? The helpline at 10215 says that they are "experiencing an intermittent problem on the email server" and suggests you try webmail.
 
Me to, POP3 works okay at night at weekends though. Guess they don't have technicians with any skills. :-(
 
Thanks for that link, I see they say restoration completed about 5:00pm (hope that means today :-)
It does seem better.
 
Unfortunately not for me: I now get an error stating that "pop access not enabled for this account" - been on hold to the helpdesk for 25 mins now ... aaaarrrggghhhh!!
 
I have the same problem.
Webmail is fine, but get POP not enabled for account.
Very annoying.
 
Problem now entering its 3rd week! Unbelievable!

Persevered on the helpline last week and insisted on speaking to a supervisor. She said she would check for me as only some accounts were affected. As a consequence of her "checking" she altered the password on one of my accounts and I was unable to access email even via webmail until I figured out what she had done.

Does anyone know if there a way to access webmail from Outlook?
 
Was OK on Sunday. Today the same crap we have been enduring for the past 2 weeks plus continues. All this after they recently carried out 'maintenance' to improve the service.
Wonder what the f-rtbrains responsible for this are all about.
