Telkom f**ks us again

thats exactly what I did, and it's gone. I think you should do a ctrl + F5 refresh and see that it is gone, and that you still have a cached copy which mentions the free allowance.
 
So they still have not finalised what they really want to do, I see the pricing has not changed, just the promotional free gigs are not there anymore, this seems even worse than b4.
 
If this is the case (3 gig account getting 30 gig local), then i see NO NEED WHATSOEVER for an IS account. The ONLY reason I got IS in the first place is because of their local access... their service has been crap overall, with SLOW speeds.

I suspect alot of users will be cancelling

Remember — Any traffic generated via Analogue or ISDN dial-up traffic will not be included in your ADSL usage cap!

Anyone know if WA or other ISP's have commented or announced anything similar?

I doubt that they would, seeing that Telkom is basically just taking the IS 3/30gig model and modifying it a bit. Don't think I'll fall for this just yet, way too much uncertainty going on here. 30gig x R 25 = R750.00... for local only access, lol I don't think so.
 
Telkom logic:
Get X GB and when you used it up you buy extra = Capped.
Get X GB and when you used it up we charge you extra = Uncapped.
