Hi everyone.
I have a certain situation that really has been annoying me for the last two months and I can't seem to fix it. For the last two years I've been paying for a 4mbps line from Telkom. Since it was installed I have had no problems with it, having a constant 400kbps down speed. Recently it has been dropping to speeds under 200kbps during the day, and sometimes disconnecting. But what I have noticed is that after 12 at night, the speed shoots up and stays constant between 250 and 400 kbps. Also, I have switched all the cables and filters, changed the adsl mode in the routers setting to specifically adsl 2+ just to see if that might have been the problem, but still no luck. Also what I noticed is when the internet speed drops, or the internet diconnects and somebody makes a call from the landline, the internet works fine again for while(the times vary) but only at a speed under 200 kbps.
The router is a billion 400g and it has been working fine for the last couple of years.
I have tried factory resetting the router.
Any advice will be appreciated.
P.s.( IT Hertz When IP)
