Telkom home ADSL problem is breaking my brain

All of this could be true, but the thing is everything worked fine including the alarm system and the router untill two months ago. It happened suddenly, one day everything was fine next day, poof. Broken

Exactly what happened to me. Overnight. All I can think is that they worked on the cable somewhere and cross connected a few pairs or somebody somewhere installed something that is pushing rf interference into the line.
