Telkom incompetence is staggering!

Hi All,

I am absolutely shocked at how useless telkom can be!

I signed up for the Black friday special last year and all was well.

They didn't bill me til this month, so received quite a large bill, no biggie though.

They bill me on the 26th, I asked for the last day of the month. I only get paid the 28th.

Now I have gone and paid the amount at checkers, I am now told it takes 48 working hours to restore?!

So not only am I footing the bill for the bounced debit order, I must also wait 48 hours to use my line?!!!!!

I have now asked for them to make sure my debit order date is the 29th. They say it takes 3 months!!!!

So for the next 2 months it will bounce?!

USELESS!
 
Call this number if you want an extension on paying your Telkom bill.

I literally do it every month.

They always answer within 30 seconds. Speak to Brenda, the lady working there.

They ask you for a payment date ( You have 2 weeks grace ) & mark it on the system.

Thanks, but it really shouldn't be necessary, they should just correct the debit date nomsayin?
