As of this morning
21g total used from 100gig
12 Mobile/integrated
9 Fixed.
Only problem is mobile network at home peaks at 3Mbs so not worth it and sim not working in LTE phone. ADSL 2Mbs but low latency and stable so streaming is good.
Buddy gets peaks of 6Mbs so he is enjoying the streaming.
Will try sim in LTE sim at home, maybe it will help/

If you force your phone to 3g it should work.
Sometimes I get up to 50mbps at home using a LTE router.

Strangely enough, on lte phone integrated SIM only works on roaming.
Speed is Just my area. LTE on other Telkom SIM get maximum of 12. Very unstable

No im on a 20meg capped account with 100 gigs data. But because i have so much Afrihost data, im going to downgrade my package with Telkom to maybe a 40 gig package.
advice, change from an uncapped to a capped package, and go with Afrihost or somebody. Its just doesnt make sense anymore to be on an uncapped package

That would be suicide. My 9 year old will quite literally obliterate 100GB in a week. He downloads so much stuff on his XBOX ONE not to mention YouTube
Just needed something in the interim while we are house sitting to keep him bouncing off the walls

Afrihost 200 gigs of data costs R199, if you add AfriPlus for R99 you can double that 200 gigs to 400 gigs for R298
200gig for R199 sure you not missing a digit there?
I recently took them up on their 250meg for R1 offer but topping up afterwards is R99 per gig! What am I missing?
Update: Sorry I see what you getting at. Will most certainly look at them for home use when I get back. Paying around R800 now for uncapped 10meg DSL.

Nope, they are currently running a double data promo. Their capped data is also uncapped for 18 hours a day .. from 12 to 6pm everyday.

currently its R99 for 50GB + 50GB's so thats 100 gigs for R99. that is what you call awesome.

So if i add something like 100GB softcap for R269.00 pm, I can go into telkom and request an integrated SIM linked to that softcap?

haha, yes was a mission. I'm surprised so few people know about the integrated sim. I used to buy about 2gig telkom mobile data a month, but now ... well don't need to. Saves me some money

Slow Friday so I hooked up this laptop to my 10MB uncapped integrated sim and went for it - 5.4GB in three sessions with 15mins breaks to give TI a chance to throttle or cap:
Current speeds not too bad for my area (all LTE places taken).

TI Tracker stopped working with a "data-base error" when they added this facility to my uncapped account last year but I've never been throttled or capped on the sim ...
Edit: Still not capped on Saturday, downloaded another 3GB. I'm guessing the 5GB limit doesn't apply to TI 10MB uncapped despite what the leaflet that came with my sim reckons.
