Telkom Integrated Data Sim

For my phone I use afrihost. The integrated sim goes into tablet to surf at work and stream cricket when I'm not at home :p
 
Guess I have to pay my school fees as well. Picked up card yesterday and asked them to activate it which I was told was done. Put card in mobile phone today and changed APN. No service. Phoned up customer care and they have no record of sim activation, told me I must go back to stores . Fun and games.
 
I picked up a sim today.The system didnt complete the request so they logged an internal ticket.
On a side note,im unable to login to https://secure.telkomsa.net/titracker/servlet/LoginServlet
it says "We are currently experiencing a problem with the TI Tracker Portal.
Please contact [email protected] or alternatively contact our Technical service desk
on 10210 for any further assistance"

anyone else having this issue?

Don't actually know. I just monitor my usage via titracker. BTW apparently you can link up to 4 sims :p

It means it has not been Rica'ed properly. Best go back to the shop, unfortunately. Mine worked instantly after leaving telkom shop.
 
A question for those in the know.

Telkom is currently my ISP with both line and 100GB capped account. Don't use IDW often, but has helped tremendously in the past.
I will be moving to fibre in JAN17, thus 'killing' all Telkom services.
Could I not just maintain a 20/40GB capped account and still take advantage of the IDW?

To be honest, its going to be difficult, if you killing the Telkom services. You might want to get a 2mbps line, with say a 20 gig capped data package.

But that would mean, still having an adsl line and voice line, over and above your Fibre.
 
lol just got back from Menlyn Telkom store. Turns out card I got from Kollonade was wrong!

Got the new card from from Menlyn but they are unable to activate it for some reason and are clueless as to how they are going to fix it!
